As every company does, we started the year with so much drive to build a business that every African would love and that we did, but faced many challenges along the way. Thanks to you, we were able to overcome most of them.

As every company does, we started the year with so much drive to build a business that every African would love and that we did, but faced many challenges along the way. Thanks to you we were able to overcome most of them. Here’s a snapshot of our highs and lows in 2022;
1. We built our developer community to over 400 members and launched our first developer meetup called Loop.
2. Acquired major licenses in Nigeria that would allow us to serve businesses on multiple channels in 2023.
3. Secured direct access to major telcos in Nigeria like MTN, Airtel and Glo via our subsidiary.
4. Recorded over Billion wallet transactions which powered more than 320 Million OTPs and notifications.
5. Secured our first Data compliance certification from NITDA which makes our data privacy process compliant with regulatory requirements.
6. Recorded a major setback on our WhatsApp service due to new policies at Meta, however, we have redesigned our WhatsApp process to be compliant with new requirements.
7. Expanded our campaign feature to import over 200,000 contacts and send messages to over 1 million people in one click.
8. Expanded our operations to cote d’ivoire and added new enterprise services which we would officially launch in 2023.
A lot more happened this year but we would reveal all in 2023. Our belief at Termii is that communication should be a basic right for every African and this is what will drive every action we take in the new year.
